I feel very fortunate to have visited Sierra Leone during such a time of dramatic change and growth.

The elections had just taken place and the country felt filled with hope for the future. Within the short time that I was there, I could see the country progress, in terms of roads, water and electricity services.

Building and development was taking place quickly and I look forward to being able to see the difference in terms of the country's growth and success when I visit again in March.

Tourism seems to be on the up, and I could really feel a sense of positivity, change and excitement amongst the locals.
