Christine, thank you for your kind comments. You were a great visitor, you came with an enthusiasm to discover what Salone had to offer. You made so many friends here and we are all looking forward to your return.

I came to Sierra Leone in September 2007. I had not visited the country before and had little knowledge of how to make arrangements. I had lots of help from Jane prior to my visit, through phone and e-mail conversations. Jane was able to answer all of my questions and helped me to feel confident to travel to Sierra Leone on my own.

Jane suggested the airport collection which I would thoroughly recommend. As there is a lot of hustle and bustle at the airport, Jane met me with her colleague and was extremely friendly. Straight away I felt that I had arrived on holiday.

The connection ferry from the airport to Freetown is a great experience. I sat on the top deck with Jane sipping our drinks, watching the traders and the city lights on the horizon. It was a great opportunity to speak with Jane who has a great enthusiasm and passion for the country. She was keen to make my stay the best it could be, and was happy to help me to bring my holiday plans to reality.

For my 2 week visit, I felt free to come and go as I pleased, and supported with my plans and requirements.

Visiting Sierra Leone was an amazing experience, which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is fortunate enough to go. I am planning to visit Jane and JB again in March 2008. I feel that there is not enough publicity about the positive sides of this beautiful country. If anyone reading this wants further information, or even to come with me in March, please feel free to get in touch with me.
