A group of local chiefs met with the crew. On the occasion of our visit we gave a local name to one of the captains, Bill. We gave him the name Sorie Bai Bureh Kamara. I was also with members of the Gullah Geechee Kingship Association, I am a local chairman for this Association. We gave a little cultural performance including a display of magic to wish them a safe return. It was a wonderful experience to see the schooner.
